The Bear Creek Expansion Project will expand the current two-field facility to four shooting fields. The two center fields are the existing trap fields, while the expansion adds a new trap field on the far left and a combination trap and skeet field on the far right. The two fields on the right will also feature lighting, giving us the ability to offer nighttime shooting. These improvements will provide additional capacity, more shooting opportunities, and a facility that can support youth shooting teams throughout the surrounding communities, as well as PCSA members and shooting sports enthusiasts for years to come.
A major step in the Bear Creek Expansion Project is officially complete! All of the initial dirt work for the two new shooting fields has been finished, including preparing and grading the areas needed for the expansion. With the groundwork now in place, you can really start to see the new fields taking shape and get a feel for what the completed facility will look like. This is an exciting milestone and sets the stage for the next phase of construction!Â

Another piece of the Bear Creek Expansion Project is now in place! The shipping containers have been delivered and will provide the storage and infrastructure needed to support the new shooting fields and equipment. While they may look a little plain right now, don't worry—they aren't staying that way! As the project progresses, a finished fence will be installed around the containers and will provide an opportunity to recognize the generous sponsors who are helping make this expansion possible.Â
We are just getting started, and there is a lot more to come! Stay tuned for future pictures and updates as we move through the next phases of the Bear Creek Expansion Project, including completion of the electrical work, pouring of the concrete, construction of the high and low houses for the new skeet field, and installation of the new trap and skeet machines. We are excited to continue sharing the progress as each piece comes together and these new fields become a reality!Â
